​Target Me is where conversations begin. Start a temporary conversation and choose exactly who should receive it. You can:

Every post is temporary, keeping conversations fresh, relevant, and clutter-free.

 

Choose Your Audience

Decide exactly who should receive your post. Target people based on demographics, lifestyle and interests.​

 

As you refine your audience, Honest Dating shows the estimated number of matching members in real time. Target Me is designed for focused conversations, so your selected audience must contain no more than 1,000 members before you can publish. Narrow your filters until your message reaches the people it's truly intended for.

 

Smaller, more intentional audiences create more relevant conversations and allow HD to notify matching members when a new post is relevant to them.

Why Am I Seeing This?

Every Target Me post includes a "Why am I seeing this?" link. Tap it to see the audience criteria selected by the author—for example:

  • Women

  • 28–35

  • Within 25 km

  • Looking for a long-term relationship

  • Interested in hiking

 

You'll always know why a conversation reached you, making Target Me transparent, relevant, and free from hidden algorithms.

 

Choose How You Appear

Post under your profile or in Incognito when privacy matters. Your identity stays hidden from other members while your account remains fully verified by Honest Dating.

​

Identity is the default. Incognito is there when privacy encourages honesty.

 

Choose How People Respond

Every post supports one of two reply styles.

Public Discussion. Everyone in the audience can see and participate in the conversation. Perfect for:

Private Replies. Every response is sent directly to you. Perfect for:

Continue Naturally

Every Target Me post is temporary. Posts automatically disappear after 24 hours without new replies, keeping conversations timely, relevant, and free from abandoned discussions.

​

​You decide when your conversation ends:

  • Keep it open until it becomes inactive.

  • Close it automatically after a chosen number of replies (for example, 10, 20, or 50).

  • Close it manually at any time once you've received what you were looking for.

More Than Dating

​

Target Me isn't just for finding dates. It's the place where conversations begin.

​

Use it to ask questions, exchange ideas, discover local places, discuss relationships, plan activities, explore shared interests, or simply reach the right people whenever conversation matters.

When you activate Pause Dating, your profile is removed from Discover, Likes and Matches are disabled, and you become unavailable for romantic connections. Target Me remains available, allowing you to stay connected with the Honest Dating community even when you're not dating.
